About us

Our impact

The Forum turns dialogue among women leaders into research, recognition and lasting collaboration.

Our purpose

To put women at the centre of the transition to a sustainable future, so that their knowledge, leadership and solutions shape the decisions that matter for people and the planet.

From its inception in 2012, the Women Sustainability Forum has empowered thousands of women across Asia Pacific, Africa, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East. Pioneered in collaboration with IBF International Institute for Better Futures, it has grown from the Exceptional Women in Sustainability network (eWisely network) into a global platform with more than 50,000 members, eight forum editions and more than 45 partner organisations in 100 countries.

Our mission

To connect, recognise and equip women leading sustainability in science, policy and practice, creating spaces for dialogue, research and collaboration that turn their ideas into action.

Our vision

A world where women lead and benefit equally from sustainable development, shaping better futures for their communities and the planet.

How we create impact

Dialogue

Our forums give women a stage to share research and practice, debate current issues and shape the agenda.

Recognition

The Awards make the leadership of women and champions in sustainability visible and inspire others.

Knowledge

We carry out rigorous research and produce policy, corporate and academic reports on demand.

Our reach

Impact around the world

Through three regional networks, the Forum connects women leaders, institutions and communities across 100 countries.
